The hospitalization of a sick child is one of the most difficult experiences for a family. And many families have to travel long distances to get the best care for their child. During this stressful time, the financial burden of a hotel or a long commute can be severe for families with children in the hospital.

These families need a “home away from home” to rest, regroup, regain their strength, share support with other families facing similar circumstances, and most importantly, be close to their children.

Our executive team at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Arizona had an amazing opportunity to contribute food, service, and time with several of the families who are currently staying at the house while their children are undergoing medical treatment. As they served food, cleaned the kitchen and dining room, they met some amazing families and more importantly some incredibly unwavering children.

When the evening was over, it was obvious that this was an event La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Arizona needs to continue on a regular basis.
